DANEGY for Bread Improvers is set to make its inaugural participation in the “Gulfood Manufacturing” exhibition, scheduled to take place in Dubai from November 4-6, 2025. This strategic move aims to significantly boost the company’s exports to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Asia at large over the next two years.
Ahmed Abdel Wahab, Operations Manager at DANEGY, stated that the company was established in 2023 as a Danish-Egyptian joint venture specializing in high-quality baking solutions. Its product line includes a full range of bread improvers for all types of bread, along with ready-made mixes such as pound cake, brioche, and muffin mixes, in addition to pizza flour for both thin Italian-style and thick American-style crusts.
Abdel Wahab explained that the company’s factory, located in the industrial zone of 6th of October City, rapidly reached its maximum production capacity of 20 tons per day. This strong market response has prompted the company to plan for expansions in the coming years to meet the growing demand for its products in both local and export markets.
He added that DANEGY strategy is to export 75% of its annual production, while allocating 25% for the local market. He highlighted that the company’s products have obtained all necessary quality certifications, enabling them to enter global markets. The initial expansion plan focuses on African and Gulf markets, with subsequent phases targeting broader expansion into Asia, Europe, America, and Canada.
Abdel Wahab noted that the company’s debut at Gulfood Manufacturing is aimed at solidifying relationships with existing clients in the Gulf region and acquiring new customers across Asia. He emphasized that Asia represents a key growth market with significant potential for export expansion in the near future.
He also stressed the importance of participating in specialized international exhibitions for gaining deeper market insight, understanding competitor activity, and learning about the latest technological advancements in the food sector. Furthermore, these events are vital for strengthening client relationships, acquiring new customers, and introducing the market to the company’s diverse product portfolio.
