“Tower Plast for Trading and Manufacturing” Expands Exports to Gulf and African Markets
"Ismail": Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Libya, and Sudan are Key Current Markets
“Tower Plast for Trading and Manufacturing” company is targeting expansion in the export sector by entering new markets in the Arabian Gulf region and the African continent in the upcoming period.
According to Mohamed Ismail, Factory Manager of Tower Plast for Trading and Manufacturing, exporting has become a fundamental element for all companies operating in the industrial sector to secure foreign currency and open new avenues for sales alongside the local market.
Ismail explained that Tower Plast was established in Badr Industrial City on a 14,000-square-meter area to manufacture advanced plastic products. He noted that the company has begun its first phase of production, manufacturing plastic pails from high-quality raw polypropylene using the In-Mold Labeling (IML) injection system, in addition to utilizing robots in the production process.
He added that the company’s factory was established with the latest international technologies and is equipped with machinery from major German and European companies to ensure high quality and productivity. The initial phase aims to produce commonly used containers, ranging from one liter to 22 liters, utilizing the IML system—one of the most important packaging systems. The factory serves clients in the chemicals and paints sectors, in addition to producing and packaging various types of food.
Ismail confirmed that the company entered the export market approximately two years ago and already exports its products to markets in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Libya, and Sudan. Exports currently account for 10% of the company’s total sales.
He indicated that the company plans to increase the share of exports to reach 50% of total annual production over the next two years. Tower Plast seeks to enter the markets of the UAE, Qatar, the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, as well as African nations, which offer promising opportunities.
Ismail further stated that the company’s factory relies on state-of-the-art global technologies that qualify it to export worldwide. The facility utilizes 15 In-Mold Labeling (IML) robots alongside 25 injection molding machines. He also highlighted that the company holds a strong reputation in the local market and has over 100 clients from major companies operating in the chemical, plastic, and food industries sectors.
