“Oil Tech” Exports Its Products to Over 35 Countries Worldwide

Kamel: Geopolitical Tensions and Trade/Military Wars behind Global Surge in Oil Prices

Exports account for 60% of “Oil Tech” company’s total sales, with its products reaching more than 35 countries worldwide.

Mustafa Kamel, Commercial Director of Oil Tech, stated that the oils sector is one of the food industries most affected by geopolitical tensions. He indicated that ending the war in Gaza would help pave the way for increasing exports of food products, most notably strategic commodities like oil, sugar, and flour. This, in turn, would positively impact increased production and labor employment.

Regarding his assessment of current crude oil prices, Kamel explained that prices remain relatively high due to several factors, most notably the escalating tensions between China and the United States, in addition to the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war. These conflicts, he noted, complicate logistical operations within the sector.

He added that the potential nearing of an end to the Russian-Ukrainian war is a positive indicator for the markets. He anticipated a decrease in sunflower oil prices in the upcoming period, especially since Russia and Ukraine are among the world’s largest exporters of sunflower.
