Taj Misr for Food Industries Inaugurates New Sauces and Mayonnaise Factory
Ragab: The Company produces 80 food items and exports to over 20 countries worldwide
Taj Misr for Food Industries has inaugurated a new factory for producing sauces and mayonnaise in the Fifth Settlement industrial zone. This launch is part of the company’s expansion strategy to diversify its portfolio of food products, which currently exceeds 80 different items

Mohamed Ragab, Commercial Director of Taj Misr for Food Industries, stated that the company’s foundational business model is built on export growth. Exports currently account for 60% to 70% of total annual sales, and the company aims to increase this figure to 90% of its production capacity.

Ragab elaborated that the company, established in 2017 as part of the multi-activity “Taj Misr Group,” specializes in producing dried milk used in the manufacturing of baked goods, sweets, and cakes. This is in addition to its portfolio of over 80 food products distributed in local and international markets.
An Export-Driven Strategy
The Commercial Director affirmed that the company successfully began its export journey in 2023. It leveraged its strong relationship with its sister company, “Cedra Global Foods” in the UAE, which facilitated the entry of its products into more than 20 markets across the globe.

The company’s export map includes leading Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq, Sudan, and Libya. It has also penetrated key markets in West and Central Africa, including Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Tanzania, Malawi, Kenya, and others.
Ragab added that this export expansion and successful entry into major markets like Saudi Arabia underscore the company’s commitment to the highest quality standards across all production stages. He confirmed that all products comply with international standard specifications and that the company holds all the necessary quality certifications required to access global markets.
International Trade Shows as a Gateway to Global Markets
Ragab emphasized the pivotal role of participating in specialized international trade shows. He noted that these events are crucial for staying updated on the latest industry developments, monitoring competitor performance, attracting new clients, and strengthening relationships with existing ones.
He explained that the company participated in four major international exhibitions during the last quarter of 2023. It started with a successful participation at “Hace Hotel” in Cairo, followed by “Gulfood Manufacturing” in Dubai, then “Horeca” in Riyadh, and concluded its tour with participation in “Food Africa” in Cairo.
